Abstract

The author presents essays of a famous polymath Ali Кaуаev from Kazikumuh devoted to brief biographies of some scholars-ulama medieval Dagestan. A compilation of material about scientists, zanimaushihsya, among other things, problems of astronomy, cosmography and timekeeping, taken from original works by this author "Tarajim and 'Ulema'and Dagestan", created on the Ottoman-Turkish language I the first third of the last century.
