ЭТНОКОНФЕССИОНАЛЬНАЯ КАРТИНА ГОРОДА ДЕРБЕНТА В VI–XIX ВВ.

Аннотация

Этнодемографическим процессам и конфессиональному облику Дербента посвящен ряд научных публикаций, подготовленных с привлечением широкого круга источников и материалов. Вместе с тем, данную проблему нельзя считать полностью изученной. Проблема этнического и конфессионального состава Дербента средневековой эпохи и нового времени не рассматривалась в широком временном разрезе с привлечением архивных документов. Наиболее полную картину этно-конфессионального состава Дербента можно воссоздать, основываясь на данных разного характера источников, в том числе нарративных источников и архивных документов. В настоящей работе нами ставится цель воссоздать наиболее полную и объективную картину формирования этнического и конфессионального состава Дербента в контексте внешнеполитических событий региона с VI и до конца XIX в. Верхняя хронологическая граница предлагаемой статьи определена с учетом проведенного дагестанскими этнографами М.-Р.А. Ибрагимовым и М.М. Магомедхановым исследования этно-конфессионального состава Дербента периода конца XIX – начала XXI в. на основе переписей населения. В статье предлагается аргументированная авторская позиция относительно этнического состава населения города Дербента в сасанидский, арабский, сельджукский, предмонгольский и последующие периоды. Проведенное исследование показало, что на этноконфессиональные процессы средневекового Дербента в значительной степени повлияли события внешнеполитического характера в регионе: в разные периоды в зависимости от внешнеполитической ситуации менялся удельный вес того или иного этнического компонента, в городе доминировали представители той или иной конфессии. С начала периода Сельджуков начался активный процесс тюркизации населения Дербента, который продолжался в течение последующих периодов. Как результат, по данным посемейных списков 1886 года, ¾ населения города составляли тюрки (совр. азербайджанцы), остальная ¼ часть – евреи, армяне и русские.
